Spring in the Canadian Rockies - 2011 Photo Tours

Come and enjoy spring renewal in the Canadian Rockies . Darwin and your host, Alan Ernst, will accompany you to share their photographic expertise and knowledge of the area plus show you lesser know 'secret spots' that most vistors to the Rockies never discover. We have no set itinerary but plan each day's shooting to be in the best locations based on the light and weather conditions of the time. If you want to be put in the 'right place at the right time' this is the tour for you.... We maximize our field time to get you the best photos possible. Anybody can photograph Rockies icons, sure we'll take you there if the light is right, but we mostly visit lesser known 'secret' spots and 'dig deeper and stay longer' to get you images you would never get on your own or with any other Rockies photo tour.
Please note that this is not a teaching style photo workshop but rather an intense photo tour emphasizing maximum time and opportunity for field photography. Darwin Wiggett and Alan Ernst know the area intimately and will guide you to the right spots and the secret stops at the right time so you can make fantastic images of spring in the Rockies. Please note that these tours are for people with a keen interest in photography who want in-depth immersion into field photography with a group of like-minded individuals (six to seven participants max). In all tours there will be ample opportunity to share experiences and techniques with other participants. Please be advised that you should be fit enough to hike with your gear for at least 3-4 hours per day.
