2008 - Self Assignment - Big Hill Springs
In 2008, I gave myself an assignment to photograph Big Hill Springs Provincial Park near Cochrane, Alberta. I went out one day a month for 12 months. The park is a small forested valley with a natural spring and creek surrounded by agricultural land. I felt that the little valley was a perfect place to push myself into seeing beyond the obvious grand landscape. This gallery shows my favorite 20 images from my self-assignment.
